Explore movement and creativity through visual and animation media using computer choreography. This fifteen week course is open to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade and can be designed as either an in-school or after-school program.
Vacation Workshops for 5th through 8th grades can be held from the third week of June through July, winter holiday break, spring break, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents’ Day, and Casimir Pulaski Day. Content of workshops are to order.
Flexibility and strength are the secrets of disciplined dance. This six-week course is geared for 9th through 12th grades to be conducted through a weekly dance workout followed by dance interpretation.
Explore color, shape, line, and form through dance. This four-week course, for 4th through 12th grades, can be a practical course using art and movement or a contemplative course using music videos and historic dance footage. This course can be designed for in-school or after-school.
Salsa is a favorite Latin American dance on which numbers and counting can be based, but can be danced and taught with ease and delight. This ten-week course is all ages and can be custom designed for your group. Professional development sessions are available throughout the 2010-2011 academic year.
