Tuition-based After School Programs are available for Kindergarten through 8th grades for 1.5 or 3 hours per week and based on a variety of dance techniques; they are discipline based with a creative culmination.
DanceArt presented the Fourth Annual Chicago Public Schools Area 13 Ballroom Dance Program in 2011. The program featured student competitions and exhibitions, a dance demonstration by DanceArt professional dancers, and a preview of the Bronzeville Swing Program.
This dance is a basic and delightful partner dance of Latin America. It can be based on numbers and counting, but can also be danced and taught with ease and delight! This ten-week course is all ages and can be custom designed for your group. Professional development sessions are available throughout the 2010-2011 academic year.

Students, with help from an instructor, will develop an effective fitness program that accompanies a dance of their choice. This fifteen week course is for 8th through 12th grades and can be designed as an in-school or after-school program.
The tale of Don Quixote can be interpreted for Kindergarten through 12th grades. This program has already been successfully piloted in a K-8 school-wide, in-school program. An after-school version is also available.
